Teacher trainees from Wildern Secondary School
We ran a half day session in reduction lino cutting with five teacher trainees from Wildern Secondary school. We used the teachers' initials as a starting point for the imagery.
We went through the process of producing a multi-coloured lino cut from one block. The image was produced in four colours in total.
During the session we covered ways of transferring the image to the block, lino cutting techniques and inking and printing techniques. We also discussed practical ways of using printmaking in the classroom.
