Covid-19 update 01.07.20

We want to reassure you that we have put extra procedures in place to ensure safe working during the pandemic. These safeguards include altering our teaching space to achieve required distancing during courses, putting in place extra cleaning procedures, hand washing and sterilizing equipment.

We have looked at all aspects of our teaching methods and workshop practice and followed the government's guidance on creating a Covid-19 Secure working environment.

We have been operating with the new procedures now for a couple of weeks and staff and customers alike are getting used to the new ways of working. And also producing some lovely prints again too.

The Foundation in Printmaking

We are beginning to take bookings from people wanting to join The Foundation in Printmaking courses in September. From September we are offering a Monday Morning Course and a Wednesday Evening course. You should be able to find all the information you need about this course by visiting the Foundation and Diploma page.

The Diploma in Printmaking.

This is the next level course after The Foundation in Printmaking. Students need to have completed the Foundation course to attend this course. The course will revisit and build upon some of the techniques covered on The Foundation in Printmaking and in addition will cover Woodcuts and Sugar Lift techniques within Etching. 1 2 1 tuition

We offer 1 2 1 tuition for individuals who require a focused session on a particular printmaking technique. In recent years we have worked with trainee teachers, tutors working in further and higher education and members of the public who are unable to attend our scheduled courses.
1 2 1 sessions can be booked on any day convenient to you when we do not have a scheduled course running. Contact us for prices and to discuss this further or to book 1 2 1 tuition.

Beginners and Improvers course

An Introduction and Improver course all in one which covers Cardcuts, Drypoint, Etching, Linocutting and Monoprint. This very popular course is a great way to learn all the basics of these techniques. You will also become familiar with working in a print workshop and with using printmaking equipment and presses.
